    We are looking for a Personal Trainer to join our team.


    Responsibilities and Expectations:


    • We are looking for individuals who can work with a variety of clients at all fitness levels.
    • Providing excellent customer service and helping to maintain a positive user experience.
    • Fitness professionals who can educate, motivate and compassionately mentor our clients.
    • Writing workout plans for clients to be executed both with and without supervision.
    • Programming for clients; 1:1, duo training and in small groups.
    • The ability to take initiative, collaborate and provide support to the personal training team.
    • Designated floor time for consultations, member services, tabling and other responsibilities.
    • Administrative duties include; phone calls, scheduling, billing, client workouts, keeping client files and other correspondence within the fitness department.
    • *Must be available to work early morning, late evening and/or weekends.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related/wellness field
    • Current accredited personal training certification required (ACSM, NASM, ACE)
    • 1-2 years of previous personal training experience
    • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
    • Understanding of nutrition and weight loss
    • Basic sales experience in selling personal training
    • Comfortable with public speaking
    • Good writing skills to include; client reports, online posts, articles and coaching tips
    • Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs, Email, Internet

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology / Exercise Science related field
    • Advanced certifications and specializations in fitness
    • 3-5 years of previous personal training experience
    • Experience working in corporate and community settings
    • Knowledge and experience working with individuals with medical conditions
    • Sales experience in selling personal training
    • Public speaking / speaking in large groups / interviews
    • Published writing in health-related fields can include; internet, magazine, various articles.
    • Additional computer skills (Mind Body Online, DayForce)
    Physical Requirements:
    • Physical requirements of the job require frequent walking around and standing for extended period of time. Demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting movements. Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
