    We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to join our team!

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to join our EXOS Team. As CMO, you will be responsible for continued development of marketing, sales, and brand strategies while leading our marketing team. This position will lead shared services supporting enterprise initiatives including planning, service design, creative, content, and communications. Additionally, the CMO will have accountability for broader EXOS marketing strategy, lead generation, and proposal management for both B2B and Consumer markets to drive our growth and results.

    Marketing Strategies And Execution

    • Develop strong market, channel, and consumer focused marketing strategies that builds the foundation for brand, content, product, and growth marketing campaigns
    • Create strategies for customer acquisition, retention, monetization, and reactivation that balance investing in mature, high performing channels with emerging, lower value but higher upside channels
    • Deepen consumer insights and develop quantitative and qualitative understanding of brand and market trends including awareness, perception, and engagement
    • Act as voice of the customer and consumer for the company by sharing actionable insights that influence marketing campaigns, experiences, product management, and new solutions 
    • Design, create, produce, and deliver content to reach and engage target audiences
    • Management of external agency and freelance resources


    Performance Marketing

    • Define and manage key performance metrics (LTV:CAC, distribution metrics, digital media performance, attribution, etc.) across B2B and D2C campaigns
    • Evaluate, monitor, and measure the impact of the quality and quantity of inbound/outbound lead generation initiatives
    • Monitor and optimize campaign effectiveness across prioritized markets, channels, and stakeholders 
    • Continue to refine and expand our channel strategy across all mediums: SEM, SEO, affiliates, partnerships, email, social media, content, etc.
    • Share key data insights across the organization on a recurring basis
    • Lead the vision for our marketing technology stack and how that will drive growth for the long term

     

    Public Relations & Communications

    • Lead the company's public relations efforts to strengthen the brand with new business opportunities and drive brand health with consumers
    • Create communications plans which meet brand objectives and market needs; define what types of stories to tell, where and how to tell them 

     

    People Leadership

    • Establish a vision and provide leadership of the team and implementation of a management process to assure achievement of the vision while learning from mistakes and celebrating success
    • Successfully motivate and lead a team of diverse and creative people
    • Promote a work environment that fosters creative thinking, innovation, rational risk-taking and tradeoffs
    • Create accountability for the broader team + ensure follow through
    • Develop a team culture including professional development of team members
    • Act as a player/coach providing hands-on direction and leadership to build and motivate a top-performing team
    • Collaborate closely with Chief Growth Officer and Executive Leadership Team to develop + determine key company strategies and decisions
    • Key leader of Growth Leadership Team and EXOS Extended Leadership Team engaged to support initiative development to sustain growth, manage risks, leverage momentum and best serve others
    • Live the brand

     

    Brand Vision And Evangelism

    • Evangelize the company and brand with customers, consumers, prospects, partners, the media, and EXOS employees to create inspired and passionate advocates across the globe
    • Provide inspiration and guidance to drive adoption and consistent execution of brand strategy
    • Lead and be accountable for the vision, strategy, and results of brand positioning and campaigns
    • Harmonize a clear and consistent brand message across a seamless omni-channel experience
    • Passion for and strong experience with digital (creative, media, product)
    • Partnership activation and collaboration

     

    Qualifications


    Required

    • 15+ years of marketing leadership experience with proven success driving brand love that translates to business growth
    • Demonstrated experience growing a company in a competitive and evolving market
    • Track record of results managing B2B lead generation pipeline, content and campaign development aimed at targeted buyer personas, and close collaboration with business development team
    • Deep experience in building consumer brands - both strategically and creatively
    • Has set a clear marketing strategy via segmentation, data, and insights
    • Ability to marry insights & data with storytelling, narrative development, and messaging
    • Deep expertise in SEM, paid social media, content marketing, display, and email 
    • A collaborative influencer who pushes cross-functional teams to action

    Preferred:

    • Low-ego, results-focus
    • Experience managing a team of 30+ people
    • Strong analytical and business management skills with proven ability to manage against revenue and spending budgets, determine return on marketing investments
    • Strong background in planning, testing, measuring, iterating, and optimizing investments
    • Data, measurement, and analytics competency — including CAC and LTV definition, optimization and multivariate testing program execution, and marketing attribution model development
    • Ability to recall KPIs and ROI metrics on the fly as you work with leadership and teams in the field
    • Experience building and scaling teams, budgets, tools, and programs
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth environments
    • Detail oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines at once
