Responsibilities

Description:
Each day, members of the military face new and unexpected challenges as conditions, terrains, and situations are always changing, requiring various physical assets and skills to succeed and, sometimes, survive. EXOS takes great pride in training members of the military and helping prepare and preserve the military's most important asset—human capital. 

 

EXOS military programs maximize the physical assets tactical athletes need to be successful every day for every mission by building strength, power, speed, and agility, while increasing flexibility and mobility to decrease the potential for injury.

 

As a Tactical Physical Therapist you will be:

  • Integrating training programs with supportive nutrition and recovery strategies support both non-duty and mission operations for peak performance.
  • Providing Physical Therapy services with military population. There will be an integrated model including Performance Specialist and Nutrition team members and support from our company infrastructure. Provides musculoskeletal injury care, utilizing approved supplemental clinical privileges including the ordering of imaging studies, laboratory tests, basic pharmaceuticals, and referrals to specialty providers.
  • Serving as an adviser to the HPP Manager in matters related to injury prevention, SM and rehabilitation.
  • Supervisory duties, adviser on administrative matters, development of relevant databases.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physical Therapy
-Must have CSCS or like Certification
-Must have SCS/OCS or ATC Certification
-Minimum of 3+ years of work experience as a Physical Therapist treating patients

 

Other Preferred Qualifications:
-Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
-Ability to relocate in a timely manner (if applicable)
-Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) as certified by the American Heart Association (this is something that will be required once an offer is made if candidate does not already possess the certification)
-Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance
