Responsibilities

The Sports & Recreation Program Manager will be responsible for the daily operation and management of the Sports & Recreation department across the entire client account. The employee will be accountable for running all leagues and events as well as managing usage of the on-campus sports facilities. The Sports & Recreation Program Manager will report to the Senior Operations Manager and work to ensure successful and sustainable operations while maintaining alignment with growth strategies across the account.

  • Facilitate daily operations of the sports & recreation programs
  • Schedule leagues and maintain roster signups and databases
  • Create field schedules and organize facility usage
  • Maintain weekly organized games and events
  • Manage inventory of all sport facilities and equipment
  • Positive daily interaction with users to provide consistent high quality experience
  • Align with client and account goals to increase user satisfaction and ensure program success

Please note: Duties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Sports Management, Operations, Intramural Activities, Customer Service or related role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or the equivalent
  • Passion for sports and building community
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, or as a team, and proactively with minimum supervision
  • Proven ability to build relationships
  • Ambition, diligence, and passion for improving the lives of others
