Responsibilities

EXOS’ projects, like our clients, span the country and globe and require Project Managers to keep both the
details and big picture in focus. As a Project Manager at EXOS, you lead complex, multidisciplinary
projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. In addition to being the internal project lead, you are the
face of EXOS to our clients during the implementation period. You manage project schedules and
deliverables, communicate risks and goals, and ensure projects are implemented on time and to their
fullest potential.


As Project Manager, you will be accountable to develop and manage a comprehensive implementation
plan for the delivery of EXOS projects and solutions. You must be agile to support an ever-evolving
project workload implementing facility and technology based solutions to community clients. You are a
team-player willing to develop partnerships across all departments with the goal of creating efficient best
practices. With this position comes the opportunity to refine the existing project management process to
ensure implementation efficiency.


You will be given significant latitude and responsibility in a fast grouping, entrepreneurial environment
that requires propensity for action and an enthusiasm for helping people get healthier, perform at their
best, and achieve more in life.

 

You will report to the Senior Project Manager, Community Services. Position is remote.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage project delivery to scope and schedule
  • Support overall project management status reporting and process
  • Manage and influence project team to meet business commitments
  • Actively engage with business partners, customers, EXOS teams, and suppliers – each at the
  • appropriate level of detail and frequency
  • Coordinate the status, tracking, and communication of all project changes
  • Understand business priorities and strategies
  • Manage day-to- day activities for project delivery assisting the Launch team members as
  • appropriate.
  • Proactively perform risk mitigation and escalate issues within appropriate timeframe
  • Continuously develop, define, and support project management tools, processes and infrastructure

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher 
  • Prior Project experience required. 5+ years of experience working on projects / programs, with at least 3 years serving successfully in positions of major responsibilities such as a Project Manager.
  • Customer Interface Skills: As a primary customer interface, must be able to listen to and understand customer expectations and concerns, and assure customer project is being executed effectively.
  • Excellent computer Skills. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and Google drive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • People Management Skills: Manage cross-functional teams responsible for delivering high-quality project outputs on time and within budget. Ensures appropriate management, customer, and supplier involvement throughout the life of the project.
  • Project Management Skills: Capable of successfully directing project planning, development and implementation according to cost, schedule, and scope requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Fitness Operations experience strongly preferred. 3+ years of experience supervising fitness center operations, preferably at a Jewish Community Center or Medical Wellness Center. Experienced with fitness and wellness center operational needs and best practice implementation.
  • Passionate about human performance, fitness, and wellness

  • Financial management skills
