Responsibilities

Overview Job Responsibilities / Duties: The Supply Chain Coordinator will have a variety of tasks that involve procurement activities, quote creation, logistics and material management. They will work closely with other members of the Operations team on a daily basis.

Essential functions of the job:

  • Quote creation
  • Establishing communication through helpdesk ticket system
  • Filter helpdesk requests to appropriate contacts
  • Operations metric accumulation and reporting
  • Vendor communication and expediting when needed
  • Communicating with customers and internal team, providing quotes and material updates.
  • Possibility of purchase order creation and follow-up with vendors.
  • Data entry and monitoring.
  • Possibility of travel.
  • Additional tasks provided to support the Operations team in creating and maintaining an efficient supply chain to support our customers.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer experience; including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions as well as communicate effectively through email and on the phone.
  • Experience in working with vendors.
  • Ability to accept guidance and work with others.
  • Punctual and reliable individuals who enjoy variety in their work.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team; enjoys working alongside others.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree is a plus.
