    We're seeking a full-time Aquatics Front Desk Representative to join our team.


    The Aquatics Desk representative is responsible for pool check in, swim lessons and aquatics program
    registration. Duties include: answering parents’ questions, ensuring students are checked-in for lessons and team, checking in all patrons utilizing the aquatics facility, reconciling payment and promoting all of our
    Aquatics programs. As the Aquatics Desk Representative you will provide a sustainable level of excellence in character, customer service and execution of job duties ensuring the highest level of customer service, while adhering to all site policies and programs related to the Aquatics department. Below are examples of job duties:

    • Focus strongly on customer service and improving the quality of all of our Aquatics programs.
    • Build relationships and communicate often with swim instructors, members and the families in our aquatics programs.
    • Ensure every patron using the facility has an updated facility waiver on file and is accurately entered into the system
    • Ensure our swim lesson program is a safe and successful program for swimmers of all ages. This means accurate number of kids in each group lesson, assisting swim instructors when needed and adhering to all Aquatics and club policies.
    • Initiate point of sale for all Aquatics programs.
    • Inform our clients of and enforce all Aquatics programs policies and procedures.
    • Monitor sign-in and sign-out procedures for all Aquatics programs including daily lap/open swim, swim lessons, swim team, etc.
    • Monitor access to our pool(s).
    • Assist with rosters and billing records for swim team, water polo and red cross classes.
    • Maintain accurate attendance and billing records for all youth and adult swim lessons.
    • Answer phone calls to site.
    • Play a key role in marketing and promoting all Aquatics programs to prospective patrons.
    • Encourage participation and member progression in all of our Aquatics programs.
    • Keep front desk area neat, organized and free of clutter.
    • Report any concerns regarding patrons or scheduling to the aquatics manager.
    • Help run updated rosters to ensure progress report cards are completed.
    • Take all necessary steps to solve member problems, complaints and concerns. Communicate frequently with the Aquatics Director regarding any complaints, compliments or problems.
    • Ensure promotional materials including pool schedules, swim lesson flyers, etc. are up to date and well stocked in the front lobby.
    • Keep our members and all swim instructor clients informed of changes to the pool schedule, pool closures, temperature changes and more.
    • Assist Aquatics Director and/or Assistant Aquatics Director with the attendance and billing records for aquatics programs.
    • Address all members and swim lesson clients using first name whenever possible.
    • Convey a positive attitude to members and employees


    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate college degree preferred.
    • Excellent outstanding engaging personality a must
    • Excellent verbal communication skills.   
    • Basic knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
